I love what you have posted here about the new Opera House. I live in Sydney Australia (home of the Sydney Opera House) and have always had friends from overseas comment on how unique our Opera House is, but I think yours is pretty spectacular! I don’t think I would fancy the cold winters that you have.

I think people take architecture for granted sometimes and neglect to realize how a building alone can evoke emotion. They’re not just structures holding people and artifacts and whatnot. Much of the beauty and comfort of a place comes from the well thought-out plans of an architect. I try to remember not to see what’s only in front of me but to look up, look down, look around… see all of my surroundings, whether in a home or a museum.
