The map shows some interesting variations in unemployment.
Nationally 7.1%
Metros 7.0%
Rural 7.6%
Manufacturing 8.0%
But the manufacturing is problematic. In Oregon anyway, it shows lumber counties as manufacturing, hence high unemployment. Washington County with all the high tech manufacturing is 6.9%.
