MSNBC and Fox are equally appalling, I’m a CNBC fan and a Comedy Central fan however.

Can someone tell me when optimism became a bad thing? Should we all just sit around and commiserate. Imagine if they did that after Pearl Harbor? Etc, etc…

Mike,
I don’t listen to a lot of radio or watch a lot of tv, I don’t have the time. But if you’re asking me if I’d choose Fox over MSNBC then, yes you’re right; they may be tilted to the right, but they don’t fawn over a candidate (I’m remembering the chills up my leg comment).
I am more of a Libertarian, which means I don’t always agree with Rush on social issues, but when he talks about the economy or taxes I usually agree with him. So I wouldn’t say I “love” him, but I’d pick him over olberman or franken any day.

but no mention of how slanted to the left MSNBC (the obama channel) is,which is owned also by GE.

For the life of me, I don’t see how anyone thinks this guy (Jon Stewart)is funny, or at a minimum worth watching
