Aside from Utah and Wyoming, the high well being regions correspond closely with Creative Class cities. What is it with Utah and Wyoming? Mormons tend to be more financially secure, in fact you could almost call them religious socialists. My wife's relatives in Ogden are a little enclave of Italian Catholics and seem to be pretty typical rural Americans. Wyoming???!
