It is commendable indeed that the city invests in Innovation, in Education but are municipalities and local companies realistically open to change and implement new methods to channel in what the outside world has to offer? Tolerance in my opinion is the main key in the equation. Often times, an egotistical, individualistic, closed-minded mentality coupled with a low level of esteem for public institutions on behalf of the private, has created the landscape for serious difficulties in connecting the problems with the solutions. The Talent is here or can be attracted from outside, the people are smart and quick to react so learning Technology is not a problem. The Tradition is thick. But working closely with people in a structured manner to assist students and employees in attaining the highest of their potentials appears a difficult task to confront.
