As a communication scholar I think this is an incredibly interesting idea and the fact that we can design physical spaces and then overlay them with socio-semiotic ones is extraordinary. We have been investigating the ideas of sousveillance in a class of mine, based on mobile use as people take pictures, load videos to the web, constructing alternative images as well as urban spaces!
