		<description>Unfortunately, I think it&#039;s a hard example for the U.S. to follow.  Canada had the benefit of an official bilingualism/biculturalism policy (English and French) that, in retrospect, laid the groundwork for the notion of official multiculturalism.  I&#039;m not sure the melting-pot model &quot;scales&quot; in the same way.</description>
