Check out this great new collection of essays by a variety of thought leaders on a wide range of global trends. McKinsey organized it, and it’s titled What Matters. They were nice enough to include two pieces from moi – one on talentopolis, the second on a new kind of economic indicator (can you guess?).

Happy to find this site. I’m a big fan of Ricard Florida and “Rise of the Creative Class” and “Who’s Your City”. I can say with absolute certainty,it really matters where you live!
I moved from Los Angeles to Chicago 2 years ago, and I although I learned some very important information, I’m ready to move again. I have found Chicago to be creatively dead. A lot of vested in portraying an image, but not much originality. The city has been very disappointing
