This sounds like very short term thinking to jump start the economy, but leaving a bigger hole to climb out of as the world economy shifts away from automotive-centric living. In many ways, cheap urban sprawl got America into this mess; advocating more of it doesn't seem like a long term solution. If the Great Reset doesn't happen this time around, it will after the next recession in about 5-7 years, and with more pain. Agree with Fred.
